ABC Countdown

Can you believe the school year is coming to a close? Where did the time go? Each year I do a fun activity to wrap up the year. For the last 26 days, we countdown the days to summer by doing a special activity each day. Here is a list of the activities we will be doing beginning Tuesday May 16th. I will send an email with a calendar of events to help you stay organized. This is an optional activity so don't feel pressure to get every day completed. :)

ABC Countdown

This year we are counting down to the last day of school. The activities planned for each day are listed below. I hope everyone participates in our special countdown celebration!

 Tuesday May 13^th 

 Art Day- Create a special ABC book.

Wednesday May 14^th

Buddy Day-Dress like your buddy (friend)

Thursday May 15^th  

            Color Day – Wear your favorite color for our color review day. 

Friday May 16^th

            Did you know? - Bring in an interesting fact to share with the class.

Monday May 19^th   

           Estimation Day – Lots of jars filled with various objects.  Can you estimate how many in each jar?  .

Tuesday May 20^th 

           Favorite snack day – bring your favorite individual snack today!

Wednesday May 21^th  

Graphing Day –bring in a special rock and we will graph: colors, size, texture, etc.

Thursday May 22^st  

Hat Day – Wear a hat in the classroom. 

Friday May 23^nd  

Ice Cream Bars

Tuesday May 27^th

Joke Day – write or type out an appropriate joke to share in the class joke book. 

Wednesday May 28^th   

Kindness Day – Show extra kindness to fellow Endeavour friends.

Thursday May 29^th

Letter of the Week Review Day

Friday May 30^th

Memory Day – Make a class book of our favorite Kindergarten memories.

Monday June 2^nd

            N umber Day—How many different ways can you count to 100?

Tuesday June 3^rd  

Outside Day – spend extra time outside today.

Wednesday June 4th

           Play Day – bring a board or card game to share.

Thursday June 5^th

Quiet Day – who will be the quietest student in our class?

Friday June 6^th

           Racing Numbers– How many numbers can you write in a minute?

Monday June 9^th

Silly Day- Wear something silly to school.

Tuesday June 10^th

           T-Shirt Day – Wear your favorite T-shirt to School. 

Wednesday June 11^th

Uplift someone day – give compliments to each other.

Thursday June 12^th

Vegetable Day – Bring a vegetable to share with classmates while watching a Video. 

Friday June 13^th

Walk – We will take a walk around the Endeavour grounds.

Monday June 16^th  

           EXciting surprise!  

Tuesday June 17^th

Year End Clearance Day – We will be cleaning and clearing out our room.  Clean up tables and the room.

Wednesday June 18^th

Zip Up Your Backpacks and Have a Terrific Summer.  Last day of school!
